Tidlings on kotitöiden sovellus: sinä ja kotisi muut asukkaat jaatte askareet, ja jokaisella on oma tidling. Tässä kerrotaan, mitä sovellus säilyttää sinusta, miksi, kuka muu sen saa ja mitä voit asialle tehdä.

Kuka vastaa tiedoista

Tidlingsin on tehnyt Elias Heikkinen (Suomi), joka on tietojesi rekisterinpitäjä. Kysymykset, pyynnöt ja valitukset: support@tidlings.app.

Mitä Tidlings säilyttää

• Tilisi: sähköpostiosoitteesi ja salasanasi (salasanasta vain turvallinen tiiviste). Jos aloitat ilman tiliä, sovellus tekee nimettömän tilin siihen asti, kun tallennat kotisi sähköpostilla.
• Sinä kodissa: nimi, jota käytät, tidlingisi väri ja vaatteet, ostamasi vaatteet ja juhlinnat, kolikkosi ja milloin liityit.
• Kotisi: nimi, huoneet ja kerrokset, kieli ja aikavyöhyke, kutsukoodi sekä se, mitä kerroit kodista sitä perustaessasi: aikuisten määrä, lasten ikäryhmät (vauva, taapero, kouluikäinen, teini), lemmikit, asunnon tyyppi, kodinkoneet ja kuinka siistinä haluatte kodin pitää.
• Askareet: jokaisen askareen nimi, huone, aikataulu, koko, vaiheet, muistiinpanot ja kenelle se kuuluu sekä historia siitä, kuka teki minkäkin askareen ja milloin, siitä saadut pisteet ja kolikot, löydöt, kannustukset, muistutukset, muistilistan rivit ja ajastetut siivoushetket.
• Poissaolot: milloin merkitset itsesi tai koko kodin poissa olevaksi.
• Ilmoitukset: ilmoitusvalintasi, puhelimesi push-tunniste ja loki sinulle lähetetyistä ilmoituksista (säilytetään 90 päivää).
• Tid-bot: oletko suostunut sen käyttöön, montako kertaa käytit sitä kunakin päivänä ja vastaukset, joista ilmoitat. Tidlings ei tallenna keskustelujasi Tid-botin kanssa.
• Puhelimessasi: asetukset, kuten teema, äänet ja kieli, sekä kopio kodistasi, jotta sovellus aukeaa myös ilman yhteyttä.

Tidlingsissä ei ole mainoksia, analytiikkaa eikä seurantaa sovellusten tai sivustojen välillä. Emme myy tietojasi.

Miksi

• Jotta sovellus toimii sinulle ja kodillesi (sopimus välillämme, tietosuoja-asetuksen 6 artiklan 1 kohdan b alakohta).
• Tid-bot vain suostumuksellasi (a alakohta). Voit perua suostumuksen milloin tahansa: Asetukset → Sinä → Tid-bot.
• Jotta sovellus pysyy turvallisena ja toimivana, esimerkiksi rajoittamalla kutsukoodien arvailua (oikeutettu etumme, f alakohta).

Kuka tiedot näkee

• Kotisi asukkaat näkevät nimesi, tidlingisi, tekemäsi askareet ja kolikkosi niin kuin sovellus ne näyttää. Kukaan kotisi ulkopuolelta ei näe niitä.
• Palvelut, joilla Tidlings toimii, tietojenkäsittelysopimusten mukaisesti:
  • Supabase: tietokanta, kirjautuminen ja palvelintoiminnot. Tiedot säilytetään EU:ssa (Irlanti).
  • Anthropic (Yhdysvallat): Tid-botin tekoäly. Vain jos olet suostunut Tid-botin käyttöön ja vain silloin, kun käytät sitä: kotisi huoneet ja askareet, siellä asuvien nimet, mitä kerroit kodista ja mitä kirjoitat. Anthropic ei käytä niitä tekoälynsä kouluttamiseen.
  • Expo (Yhdysvallat): toimittaa sovelluksen päivitykset ja push-ilmoitukset. Ilmoituksen teksti (esimerkiksi kotikaverin nimi ja askare) kulkee Exponin ja Applen tai Googlen ilmoituspalvelun kautta puhelimeesi.
  • Apple ja Google: push-ilmoitukset ja sovelluskaupat.
  • Cloudflare: tidlings.app-sivusto, kutsulinkit mukaan lukien.

Kun tietoja siirretään EU:n ulkopuolelle, niitä suojaavat EU:n vakiosopimuslausekkeet tai EU:n ja Yhdysvaltojen tietosuojakehys.

Kuinka kauan

• Niin kauan kuin sinulla on tili.
• Kun poistat tilisi (Asetukset → Sinä → Poista tili), tilisi ja kaikki vain sinua koskeva poistetaan heti. Tekemäsi askareet jäävät kotisi historiaan ilman nimeäsi, jotta kodin yhteinen historia pysyy oikeana. Jos olit kodin viimeinen asukas, myös koti ja sen historia poistetaan.
• Kun lähdet kodista tai sinut poistetaan siitä, sama tapahtuu sen kodin osalta.
• Ilmoitusloki 90 päivän jälkeen. Ilmoitetut Tid-botin vastaukset, kun ne on tarkistettu, viimeistään 12 kuukauden jälkeen. Perustetut kodit, joita ei koskaan tallennettu sähköpostilla, 30 päivän jälkeen.
• Supabasen varmuuskopioissa poistettuja tietoja voi olla vielä hetken, kunnes ne korvautuvat uusilla.

Oikeutesi

Voit pyytää kopion tiedoistasi, korjata ne, poistaa ne, pyytää rajoittamaan niiden käyttöä tai vastustaa sitä sekä siirtää ne muualle. Suurimman osan tästä voit tehdä sovelluksessa: kopion saat kohdasta Asetukset → Sinä → Lataa tietoni. Muuten lähetä sähköpostia osoitteeseen support@tidlings.app tilisi sähköpostiosoitteesta. Vastaamme kuukauden kuluessa. Jos katsot, että tietojasi on käsitelty väärin, voit tehdä valituksen tietosuojavaltuutetulle (tietosuoja.fi).

Lapset

Oman Tidlings-tilin saa 13-vuotiaana. Koti voi kertoa Tidlingsille, montako lasta siellä asuu ja minkä ikäisiä he ovat, jotta askareet voidaan suunnitella. Lasten nimiä tähän ei kysytä. Jos epäilet, että alle 13-vuotiaalla on tili, kerro meille, niin poistamme sen.

Muutokset

Jos tähän selosteeseen tulee merkittäviä muutoksia, sovellus kertoo niistä ennen kuin ne tulevat voimaan.

Privacy policy

Tidlings is a chore app for a home: you and the people you live with share the chores, and each of you has a tidling. This says what the app keeps about you, why, who else gets it and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

Tidlings is made by Elias Heikkinen, Finland, who is the controller of your data. Questions, requests and complaints: support@tidlings.app.

What Tidlings keeps

• Your account: your email address and password (the password only as a secure hash). If you start without an account, the app makes an anonymous one until you save your home with an email.
• You in the home: the name you use, your tidling's colour and what it wears, the clothes and celebrations you've bought, your coins, and when you joined.
• Your home: its name, rooms and floors, language and time zone, invite code, and what you told about it when setting it up: how many adults live there, the age groups of any children (baby, toddler, school-age, teen), pets, the kind of home, appliances and how tidy you like it.
• The chores: each chore's name, room, schedule, size, steps, notes and who it's for, and the history of who did which chore when, the points and coins it gave, finds, cheers, nudges, shared notes and timed cleaning sessions.
• Time away: when you mark yourself or the whole home away.
• Notifications: your notification choices, your phone's push token, and a log of what was sent to you (kept 90 days).
• Tid-bot: whether you've said yes to it, how many times you used it each day, and any answer you report. Tidlings doesn't save your conversations with Tid-bot.
• On your phone: settings such as theme, sounds and language, and a copy of your home so the app opens without a connection.

Tidlings has no ads, no analytics and no tracking across apps or websites. We don't sell your data.

Why

• To run the app for you and your home (the contract between us, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Tid-bot only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can take it back at any time: Settings → You → Tid-bot.
• To keep the app safe and working, for example by limiting invite-code guesses (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who sees it

• The people in your home see your name, tidling, the chores you've done and your coins, as the app shows them. Nobody outside your home does.
• The services Tidlings runs on, under data processing agreements:
  • Supabase: the database, sign-in and server functions. Stored in the EU (Ireland).
  • Anthropic (USA): the AI behind Tid-bot. Only if you've said yes to Tid-bot, and only when you use it: your home's rooms and chores, the names of the people in it, what you told about your home and what you write. Anthropic doesn't use it to train its AI.
  • Expo (USA): delivers app updates and push notifications. A notification's text (a housemate's name and a chore, say) passes through Expo and Apple's or Google's push service on its way to your phone.
  • Apple and Google: push notifications, and the app stores.
  • Cloudflare: hosts tidlings.app, including invite links.

When data goes outside the EU, it's protected by the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long

• As long as you have an account.
• When you delete your account (Settings → You → Delete account), your account and everything only about you are deleted at once. The chores you did stay in your home's history, without your name, so the home's shared record stays true. If you were the last one in the home, the home and its history are deleted too.
• When you leave a home or are removed from it, the same happens for that home.
• Notification logs after 90 days. Reported Tid-bot answers once reviewed, and after 12 months at the latest. Homes set up but never saved with an email, after 30 days.
• Supabase's backups may hold deleted data for a short while, until they're replaced.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, and take it elsewhere. Most of this you can do in the app: for a copy, Settings → You → Download my data. For the rest, email support@tidlings.app from your account's email address. We reply within a month. If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Children

You need to be at least 13 to have your own Tidlings account. A home can tell Tidlings how many children live there and their age groups, to plan the chores; their names aren't asked for. If you think a child under 13 has an account, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the change applies.
